Nissan GTR - Full Interior & PNS

 

This is one of my favorite cars that I had the honor to work with. The Nissan GTR came in for a full interior and exterior protection protected with Sonax Polymer Net Shield. Fully inspecting the vehicle, several steps of decon, followed by proper exterior washing was in dire need. Thick layers of brake dust were covering each wheel produced by the enormous Brembo brakes. Prolong exposure to brake dust can lead to corrosion, which was evident on the wheels.  After examining the vehicle, the car was decontaminated using Iron X and clay bar. Sonax Polymer Shield was applied on the paint, wheels, and carbon fiber pieces after the decon process. 

 

Procedure

 

The wheels were cleaned using Sonax Wheel Cleaner

Tires were cleaned using Chemical Guys Diablo

The whole car was rinsed using a foam lancer

The car was washed with Chemical Guys Citrus

NanoSkin Mitt used to decontaminate paint

Adam's Clay Bar used as secondary decon step

Natural light and Rupes Pen used to inspect paint

Sonax Polymer Net Shield applied on whole car, including the wheels
