Mitsubishi Evo 10 - Paint Correction & Kamikaze Miyabi Coating

 

Had the chance to perform a paint correction on a BMW Z4.  The paint on the vehicle was in horrible shape with swirls and deep scratches found on the whole car. Due to time constraint and working without a paint meter,  I had decided to perform a moderate level paint correction.  This was the perfect step to take care of swirls and light scratches without removing a lot of clear coat. The paint was dull and after performing a moderate level paint correction, the difference was substantial.  Was not able to take a lot of pictures for this vehicle due to time constraint. 

Procedure

 

The wheels were cleaned using Sonax Full Effect 

Tires were cleaned using D108

The whole car was rinsed using a foam lancer

The car was washed with Chemical Guys Citrus

NanoSkin Mitt used to decontaminate paint

Adam's Clay Bar used as secondary decon step

Iron X used as tertiary decon step

Natural light used to inspect paint

Paint corrected using Rupes polishers with Boss FC Cream

Paint polished using Sonax Paint Cleaner

Gyeon Q2M Prep used to remove polish oils before coating applications

Two applications of BlackFire Wet Diamond Sealant

One application of Auto Finesse Desire

Kenotek Showroom Shine application on top of wax
