Acura TSX - Paint Correction & Protection

The client wanted me to restore the paint via a one-step paint correction. Scratches and swirls were evident on the whole vehicle before the wash but after the wash, the car was in horrible condition. The client purchased his vehicle from a dealership who installed swirls and scratches on his car! Cars that are buffed by inexperienced detailers will look great at first because the product that they're using is actually masking or concealing the defects. However, improperly using a buffing machine will add marring and scratches on the paint. At Maestro, we truly correct paint using Gyeon Prep to remove the oils to determine if the defects are fully removed. After the paint correction, the car came out amazing

Procedure

The wheels were cleaned using Sonax Full Effect 

Tires were cleaned using Chemical Guys Diablo

The whole car was rinsed using a foam lance

The car was washed with Optimum Car Wash

NanoSkin Mitt used to decontaminate paint

Clay bar used for severe, stubborn panels 

Paint assessed and masked

Sonax Perfect Finish 4/6 used to polish the paint

Diluted 50/50 isopropyl alcohol used on paint to remove leftover oil from polishing before applying on protection

Natural light and Rupes Pen used to inspect corrected paint

Auto Finesse Illusion hand wax applied for protection

Interior & exterior glass cleaned using Sonax Glass Cleaner
